Virginia voters are finally waking up. After just 90 days in office, Governor Abigail Spanberger has managed to disappoint the very people she claimed she’d save. Remember all those promises of jobs, jobs, jobs? Turns out, smoke and mirrors can’t build an economy. Even the so-called “big” jobs announcement failed to land. Virginians, rightfully, are not amused.
It’s hard not to notice the difference between Spanberger’s faltering debut and what Glenn Youngkin accomplished. Youngkin walked into office with a clear plan and stuck to it. The Virginia economy actually grew. Wages were up. Schools were safer. But under Spanberger, it’s all falling apart, and fast. What happened to all the lofty talk about fixing things for working families?
This is what you get with Democrats running the show. They talk a good game about the middle class, but their policies shout one thing: incompetence. They chase headlines with splashy announcements, but when the cameras are gone, everyday Virginians are left picking up the pieces. Spanberger’s administration is showing that liberal leadership means empty promises and missed opportunities.
While Spanberger scrambles for good news, the polls are turning against her. Even her own voters see the truth behind the facade. People are fed up with elites who cozy up to globalist interests while ignoring the needs of their own state. This isn’t leadership — it’s a political circus, and hardworking Virginians deserve better.
Maybe next time, Democrats will realize that real change doesn’t come from photo ops or press releases. Virginians are done being fooled by the same old song and dance. The only thing Spanberger is delivering is buyer’s remorse. Is anyone really surprised that Glenn Youngkin is having the last laugh?
