Southern California was rocked by another act of crazed destruction this week, and liberals act shocked. But anyone paying attention wouldn’t be surprised. Deep in blue-state territory in Ontario, California, a massive warehouse belonging to a company that supplies American households with everyday essentials was set ablaze. This wasn’t some random accident. Police aren’t treating this as a tragic coincidence. This fire, which gutted more than a million square feet and sent flames lighting up the night sky, was intentional—set by an arsonist clearly motivated by a twisted social agenda.
It’s amazing how leftists clutch their pearls and play dumb after years spent demonizing businesses and manufacturing as evil, greedy, and bad for the planet. On one hand, California’s liberal leadership grovels before ESG activists, globalist bureaucrats, and radical green groups. On the other, they wring their hands when lunatics inspired by this anti-capitalist posturing torch the very infrastructure everyday Americans rely on. Who gets hurt? Not the woke elites. Regular folks, that’s who. The families who need toilet paper and paper towels. Moms and dads just trying to keep their homes running.
It’s a cruel irony: All judgment falls on the backs of the companies providing for American families, while the left’s favored activists run wild—shutting down supply chains, threatening energy grids, and now, setting massive fires. California’s politicians can’t keep people safe, but they sure know how to blame “climate change” every time there’s smoke in the air, never mind the real culprits right under their noses. This wasn’t nature. This was nurture—of the worst kind.
How many times do we have to see criminals, fueled by social justice nonsense, inflict chaos before Democrats wake up? Or maybe chaos is the plan. Maybe gutting American supply chains is exactly what the globalists want—so they can swoop in and “save” us with imports from China and more government control. The people of Ontario didn’t ask for this. But they’re living in a state run by politicians who can’t protect citizens’ most basic needs—or stop the radical rot.
Don’t expect any of California’s Democrat leaders to own up to their failure. They’re too busy dreaming up new regulations and inventing new pronouns. While good people are left with empty shelves and burned-out buildings, the arsonists with “insane social agendas” hide behind their activist shields. Maybe it’s time for the rest of the country to ask—how much more of this lawless, left-wing insanity are we supposed to take?
