The left is throwing yet another fit because the Trump team is doing exactly what Americans asked for—bringing common sense back to Washington. The latest outrage? Moving the federal Forest Service headquarters out of swampy D.C. and into Salt Lake City, Utah, where the actual forests are. Instead of admitting this is good old-fashioned American practicality, Democrats and their media mouthpieces are screeching that Trump is “dismantling” the Forest Service. Seriously? These folks must really miss their taxpayer-funded power lunches on K Street.
Here’s the reality liberals just can’t stomach: The Forest Service doesn’t belong in Washington, D.C. It belongs near the forests! The West is where our forests and wilderness are, not in the concrete jungle of politicians, lobbyists, and overpaid bureaucrats. Yet every time a Republican tries to drain the swamp—literally or figuratively—the left pretends the sky is falling. Please. The only thing being “dismantled” is the left’s precious control over our lives.
Why are they so against this move? It’s simple. Democrats hate losing power. Keeping agencies like the Forest Service firmly planted in D.C. keeps career politicians and globalist elites in the driver’s seat. Moving these agencies west strips away their cozy fiefdoms and puts the power where it belongs: closer to the people, the land, and actual experts on forests, not latte-sipping city slickers who wouldn’t know a pine tree from a park bench.
Instead of helping Americans, leftists are more interested in keeping their own clique happy and their hands on federal spending. Look at the facts—this move makes operations more efficient and actually helps the people whose lives and livelihoods depend on our forests. But, as usual, liberals care more about headlines and hysteria than hard work and results. When Republicans get things done, the left’s only move is to cry “chaos” and blame Trump.
Let’s be honest: Every time Trump tries cleaning up government waste, the left melts down and makes wild claims. But anybody with a brain cell can see what’s really going on. The Democrats are terrified to lose even an ounce of their precious bureaucracy. Maybe the real question is, why are they so scared of moving a few desks west of the Potomac? Could it be they’ve forgotten what America’s really about—freedom, self-reliance, and government that actually works for the people, not for the elite?
