Nashville School Lets Muslim Kids Pray While Christian Students Get Nothing

It’s starting in Tennessee: a Nashville public school just caved to political correctness, giving special treatment to Muslim students during Ramadan. They’re letting kids leave class to pray, and they even set aside a special room just for this. Where’s the outrage? Imagine the chaos if Christian kids dared to ask for extra time to pray during school hours. Liberals would throw a fit, insisting we “separate church and state.” But when it’s Islam, suddenly those rules don’t apply.

This is what happens when weak school leaders bow to progressive pressure. They’re more focused on appeasing woke activists than on teaching kids. American classrooms shouldn’t turn into religious prayer halls. School is for learning—not for special privileges every time a different group asks. Yet once again, the left’s favorite game is bending the rules, as long as it fits their narrative.

The double standard couldn’t be clearer. Bibles are banned. Prayers before football games? Forget it—those get slammed as “oppressive.” But when it’s time for Ramadan, leftist administrators scramble to accommodate, all to look “inclusive.” How is this fair to students of other faiths—or those with none at all? The message is plain: if you’re Christian, step aside. If you’re Muslim, the red carpet rolls out.

Let’s get real. This isn’t about freedom or fairness. It’s about buying into a globalist agenda that chips away at American norms. Our taxpayer-funded schools are supposed to reflect our country’s values. Instead, they’re turning into playgrounds for multicultural experiments. These decisions don’t reflect the will of most parents, teachers, or actual students—they come from a woke minority, desperate to prove how tolerant they are, no matter the cost.

How much further will schools go to please every special interest? If Christians can’t pray openly, why are there special rules for anyone else? The radical left likes to talk about equality—but apparently, equality depends on which faith you follow. Is this what American education stands for now?
