This week in Oklahoma, a principal risked his life to save students from another deranged shooter—because out-of-touch liberals refuse to accept the hard truth about school safety. This isn’t some fantasy, it happened: a principal stepped between children and bullets and became a legend in the process.
Let’s say it plainly. The only reason that Oklahoma high school wasn’t the next tragic headline is because a brave principal and a handful of staff weren’t paralyzed by fear or bureaucracy. While a 20-year-old former student stormed the school with a gun and an evil mission, it was those who acted fast—not a stack of feel-good laws—who saved lives. The shooter managed to pull the trigger, and the principal still charged in. He took a bullet to his leg, but turned the tables. No students died that day, and the bloodthirsty Left didn’t get to exploit another tragedy on the evening news.
Meanwhile, liberals keep recycling policies that have already failed us. They’d rather chase after law-abiding gun owners and lecture parents about “common sense” gun laws. Yet here we are, once again, watching in real time as brave Americans succeed where government rules keep falling short. No law stopped this maniac from entering a school. The only thing that stopped him was courage—plain and simple.
What else will it take for so-called leaders to get serious? Armed security works. Metal detectors stop threats before they take root. Hardening schools is just practical. But look around—how many schools are still wide open, because leftist officials whine that security makes kids “uncomfortable”? Tell that to the parents in Oklahoma who nearly lost their children this week!
The Left will never admit it, but every “gun-free zone” is nothing more than an open invitation to lunatics and criminals. The anti-gun lobby will twist and spin, ignoring the facts staring them in the face. Principal Moore bleeds for his students, while coastal elites bleed their talking points. It’s simple: American schools need heroes, not more hopeless “solutions” from politicians who’d rather grandstand than protect children. How many more brave men and women have to risk everything before liberals admit their way has failed?
