Pentagon goes to war with American AI while China and Russia cheer from the sidelines

The Pentagon’s latest stunt proves just how far off the rails the so-called “adults in the room” have gone. Instead of focusing on true threats, this administration’s Defense Department has decided that a top American AI company—Anthropic—should be treated like a hostile foreign enemy. That’s right. They’ve blacklisted a homegrown, innovative tech company as a national security threat. This isn’t some Chinese Communist Party front or Russian hacker group. This is a United States business, built by Americans, right here in the land of opportunity. Yet, thanks to Washington’s upside-down priorities, they’re now being frozen out of military systems.

It gets worse. Anthropic didn’t take this lying down; they challenged the ban in court. But the liberal justice system once again sided with the bureaucrats, refusing to put a stop to the Pentagon’s move. So while Chinese and Russian technologies keep finding clever ways into America’s backyard, our own government is obsessed with cracking down on fellow Americans. Apparently, common sense has taken a backseat to woke paranoia and bureaucratic box-checking.

One has to wonder, who benefits when American companies are left out in the cold? Certainly not our troops, who rely on cutting-edge technology to stay ahead. Maybe the bureaucrats think it’s safer to import foreign products or outsource innovation. Or maybe, just maybe, this is another classic case of big government flexing its muscles against private enterprise. The left loves to say they’re the party of science and technology, but here they are, sabotaging American progress for their own twisted agenda.

Liberals in Washington want us to believe they’re protecting America. In reality, they’re weakening our own industry out of sheer incompetence, or maybe even jealousy. Every parent knows you don’t punish your own kid for being smarter than the neighbor’s. But that’s exactly what the Pentagon is doing. It’s anti-American, plain and simple—and the courts are letting it happen.

Who really runs our national security—the people elected to defend us or a bunch of unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats obsessed with checking boxes? If this is how the federal government treats American talent, what future do we have against the real enemies overseas?
