Yale rocked by scandal as official ousted to make room for girlfriend hire

It’s almost hard to be shocked by the latest scandal out of Yale, but this one takes the cake. The so-called “elite” athletic department apparently thought it was just fine to push out a loyal, long-serving official—not because he wasn’t doing his job, but because they wanted to make space for a new hire’s girlfriend. Diversity and inclusion have officially jumped the shark.

Think about it. Instead of rewarding hard work and real qualifications, Yale apparently tossed someone aside to fit a relationship into their org chart. That is what happens when woke ideology runs your HR department. If you check the right boxes, you’re golden—even if it means someone else loses their job. This isn’t meritocracy. It’s favoritism, pure and simple.

Don’t forget, this isn’t some small community college—this is Yale, a brand that used to mean something. Now, under the woke regime, it’s just another playground for activists. They talk about fairness, but they act like the rules only count for people they don’t like. Imagine the outrage if this happened with a conservative couple or if some administrator made decisions for personal relationships. The left would be screaming from every rooftop.

Sadly, this is the new normal at institutions run by liberal elites. They’d rather virtue signal about sexuality and “inclusion” than reward experience. Is it any wonder our universities are turning out graduates more obsessed with identity politics than actual results? When who you date trumps what you accomplish, you get incompetence at every level, all in the name of progressive values.

Shouldn’t our so-called best and brightest be focused on excellence, not on making room for their partner at the expense of someone who actually earned their spot? Or is expecting basic fairness now too much to ask at Yale? Maybe it’s time to admit that the Ivy League is just one big, taxpayer-funded social club for the woke and well-connected.
