Biden DOJ targets NFL while real crises spiral out of control

Once again, the Biden administration proves it just can’t keep its hands out of America’s business. Now, the Department of Justice has set its sights on the National Football League, kicking off an investigation into the league’s so-called “anticompetitive tactics.” Give me a break! With our nation fighting record inflation, a growing border crisis, and cities overrun with crime, what’s the big priority for Washington’s power-hungry bureaucrats? That’s right—a witch hunt on good old American football.

Is this what passes for justice in 2024? The DOJ now acts like a parent rushing onto the field at a pee-wee game, yanking away everyone’s football. Honestly, this kind of overreach is typical from liberal leaders who just can’t stand to see anything outside their control. The left already tried to inject woke politics into sports—from kneeling during the national anthem to endless lectures about “equity.” Now, they’re taking it a step further by sicking government lawyers on an entire league, simply because it operates like a business—one that actually wins.

It’s hard not to see the hypocrisy. Where was this so-called concern about “anticompetitive tactics” when Silicon Valley’s favorite tech giants killed off free speech, censored conservatives, and crushed competition without a second glance from the feds? But the NFL—an institution that millions of Americans love, one that brings families together every Sunday—suddenly gets dragged into court because the government claims to care about the “public good.” The NFL isn’t perfect, but at least it’s American. Unlike some globalist corporations, at least the league still flies our flag.

Let’s be honest: this is nothing but political theater. The left is desperate to stay relevant by targeting whatever America still holds sacred. If they can tarnish football, they can demoralize the heartland that doesn’t buy into their anti-American agenda. They hope that by intimidating the NFL, they can show every other American industry who’s boss. That’s not justice; that’s a power grab.

Maybe the DOJ should focus on real threats instead of playing referee on the gridiron. But holding the government accountable? Don’t expect that from liberals who think every winning team needs a bureaucrat on the sidelines. Football built its legacy on hard work, fairness, and competition. Maybe the Beltway elites could take some notes. Or is that too “offensive” for them?
