American businesses and families are paying the price—again—for trusting weak promises from Iran and its friends in the globalist elite. Traffic through the Strait of Hormuz remains practically dead, with shipping stuck at less than ten percent of normal. That’s right, less than ten percent. This, even after Iran supposedly agreed to stop terrorizing civilian ships as part of its much-hyped ceasefire deal with the United States and Israel.
Promises from Iran are as empty as their slogans. The Biden administration and its international cheerleaders keep patting themselves on the back, pretending this so-called ceasefire is some kind of breakthrough. But the facts on the water tell the real story. The world’s busiest shipping lane is barely limping along, and who gets hurt? Ordinary Americans who rely on those goods, whose prices only go up when our enemies choke global trade.
Liberals keep falling for the same trick: roll out the red carpet for bad actors, flash some headlines about “peace,” then look the other way when nothing changes. It’s the same weakness that ruined our southern border and now leaves the world economy in the hands of anti-American regimes. How much does the left really care about American jobs and household budgets, when their policies enable threats halfway across the globe?
The Strait of Hormuz should be open and safe, not a playground for Iranian aggression. But the White House seems more interested in appeasing radicals than standing up for Americans. Instead of projecting strength, they whisper about “diplomacy.” Well, here’s the result: billions of dollars at risk, global trade stuck in neutral, and American consumers squeezed yet again.
So, what’s the plan now? More empty press releases, more photo-ops, more weakness disguised as strategy? The world’s bad actors are watching—and they see a White House that talks a lot but delivers little. Conservatives warned this would happen. The left chased empty promises, and now American businesses and families are suffering the consequences. How many times do we have to learn that surrendering to bullies just gets us pushed around even more?
