America’s birthright citizenship is under attack, and the left pretends it’s not a problem. But while liberals ignore border chaos and weak laws, China is openly gaming the system—using American soil as a backdoor to free citizenship. With the so-called “surrogacy pipeline,” wealthy Chinese families are paying for babies to be born here, grabbing passports they have no intention of embracing through American values.
Senator Rick Scott actually gets it. He’s pushing the SAFE KIDS Act because he knows China isn’t just playing a game—they’re playing for keeps. These kids get an American passport at birth, but then they’re whisked right back to China—never learning freedom, never growing up as Americans. Instead, Beijing raises them, molds them, and then, when they’re old enough, they use their “Made in the USA” citizenship for whatever suits the Chinese Communist Party’s agenda.
Why does the left refuse to act? Simple. Liberals and globalists want open borders and watered-down citizenship. They refuse to see the danger in allowing US passports to be handed out like candy to foreigners who never even bother to embrace our country. While Democrats are busy squabbling over pronouns and climate hysteria, China is running circles around our broken system.
This is a real threat. Imagine a future where thousands—maybe millions—of “American” citizens grow up overseas under the thumb of Beijing, only to swoop back when it’s convenient. They get all the rights of true Americans, but none of the loyalty or shared values. If this isn’t national security malpractice, what is?
It’s long past time to shut down these outrageous loopholes. America’s citizenship should mean something. The SAFE KIDS Act is just common sense. How much longer will liberals sell us out to globalist interests while Communist China keeps laughing all the way to the bank? If we don’t value being American, why should anyone else?
