Without so much as a fact check, the network smeared Michael J. Fox with an outrageous death report while the star is still very much alive and well. Only when Fox himself proved them wrong with a social media post did CNN bother to correct its humiliating blunder.
It’s not just embarrassing—it’s downright dangerous. This is the kind of “journalism” we get from the liberal media. They constantly parade themselves as the sole purveyors of facts, yet can’t even keep their own reporting in check. If they can’t tell whether Hollywood’s most famous Parkinson’s advocate is alive or not, how can Americans trust them on anything more important?
This circus wasn’t just a technical error or an innocent mistake. It’s what happens when a left-wing news machine is more focused on ratings and sensationalism than on truth. CNN is too busy pushing anti-American agendas and stoking partisan drama to care about simple facts. Meanwhile, real issues—crime in Democrat-run cities, the battered middle class, the threat from globalists—get ignored while they trip over themselves trying to score the next viral headline.
And let’s not ignore the sheer hypocrisy. These so-called professionals never hesitate to mock conservative outlets for reporting slip-ups, yet when their own reckless reporting leads to a public fiasco, it gets shuffled under the rug with a quick apology and a half-hearted “correction.” Imagine the outrage if a conservative network had made this mistake—they’d be calling for heads to roll on Capitol Hill.
What else are they getting wrong? Americans deserve a media that checks its facts instead of rushing to sensationalize the news. If this is the best that the liberal mainstream media can do, maybe it’s time to change the channel—for good.
