Eric Swalwell, the California Democrat known for loving the spotlight, may finally be getting a taste of true accountability. This is the same guy who is busy running for governor while still tangled up in the suspicious mess surrounding his cozy relationship with a woman tied to Chinese espionage. For years, the left cheered him as he played attack dog, trying to take down President Trump at every turn. Now, the sharks are circling—and they’re not wearing MAGA hats.
Swalwell has always wanted to paint himself as the victim. When the FBI started sniffing around his connections to the Chinese spy, he claimed politics were at play. But now, his problems are coming from inside the Democrat house. A group of women, with the help of a Gen Z activist and former congressional candidate, are reportedly lining up to accuse him of sexual harassment and predatory behavior. And this isn’t just one person whispering in the dark—multiple women say Swalwell used his “mentor” role to exploit power over employees, interns, and even his fans. They’ve found legal help and are ready to make their stories public.
If this sounds familiar, it should. Democrats built their house on “Believe All Women”, rushing to destroy Brett Kavanaugh, Donald Trump, or anyone else marked as an enemy of progressivism. But when one of their own gets accused, suddenly the rules really do change. Swalwell and his campaign are already using every excuse in the book—blaming “MAGA conspiracies” and whining about the timing, as if that makes any difference to real victims. The hypocrisy is exhausting. For years, Swalwell made a career out of smearing his political opponents with baseless claims, yet now he wants everyone to trust his word over multiple women.
With election season heating up in California, Swalwell’s Democrat rivals are wasting no time sharpening their knives. Suddenly, even seasoned party hacks like Antonio Villaraigosa are pounding the table, using the allegations as political ammo. They see weakness and are eager to take out a frontrunner. A few manage the usual routine—expressing “concern” while waiting to see which way the wind blows. But the truth is, the party that claims to champion women is about to devour one of its own, and all for the sake of power.
Ironically, the loudest outrage is coming from the left, not the right. Conservative critics like to say that Democrats only care about principles when they can weaponize them against Republicans, and this whole fiasco proves that point once again. The left loves to talk about “integrity,” “transparency,” and “believing women”—until the spotlight falls on their own golden boy. Now it’s all secret meetings, hushed denials, and frantic blame games.
Swalwell always thought he could play both sides—bowing to globalists and the party machine, while pretending he was untouchable. Well, Mr. Swalwell, welcome to the world you and your friends created. The #MeToo monster you helped unleash has finally come looking for you. Is anyone really surprised?
