Kristi Noem’s days running Homeland Security are finally over, and the career bureaucrats are practically throwing a party over it. Can you blame them? The bureaucratic swamp had a field day while Noem tried to clean up their mess. Now, with her gone, these inside players are crawling out of the woodwork, eager to gossip about so-called “chaos” and “mismanagement.” Funny how government workers suddenly become chatty once the outsider is shown the door.
For too long, Democrats and their deep-state buddies have turned our Department of Homeland Security into their own playground—wide open borders, zero accountability. But when a real conservative like Noem steps in and demands results, suddenly there’s “panic” and “confusion.” Maybe the chaos wasn’t Noem’s fault. Maybe it was a system set up to protect incompetence instead of America.
Of course, now these anonymous insiders feel brave enough to share their war stories, complaining about tough leadership. Translation: they miss the days of doing nothing while our country paid the price. The left loves to blame conservatives whenever big government doesn’t run smoothly. But we all know bureaucrats hate being held to real standards and hate anyone who puts America first.
Liberals and their Beltway cronies see border security as an afterthought. They accuse Noem of creating “trouble,” when the real trouble is the same old broken system that rewards failure. Instead of fixing broken policies, these insiders just want an easy path back to mediocrity—while the rest of us pay the cost in open borders, drugs, and crime flooding in.
The so-called sighs of relief inside DHS say all you need to know. For career paper-pushers, any strong leadership is a threat to their cushy positions and anti-American schemes. Maybe it’s time to ask: Why do these “insiders” always panic when someone tries to put America first? No wonder D.C. is broken.
