Another day, another Democrat under investigation. This time, it’s Eric Swalwell facing the heat. Multiple women have come forward, accusing him of sexual assault. Now, even the notoriously liberal Manhattan District Attorney’s office can’t ignore it. If these were claims against a Republican, the mainstream media would have already filled the airwaves with their outrage. But with Democrats, the silence is deafening. Why the double standard?
Swalwell, of course, is one of those smug California liberals who loves telling Americans how to live their lives. He’s always grandstanding about “justice” and “accountability”—for conservatives, anyway. Funny how fast those big words disappear when his own reputation is on the line. Swalwell played the anti-Trump resistance hero for years, while ignoring border security and trampling on the Second Amendment. Now he’s under investigation for something far worse than anything he’s ever accused others of.
Democrats have a bad habit of acting above the law. They think their connections and globalist friends will always protect them. When scandals like this hit, the left loves to sweep it under the rug, acting like nothing happened. Just another day in their world of elitist privilege. Meanwhile, conservatives get demonized for far less, facing endless attacks from biased media and activist prosecutors.
Let’s not forget, this is the same party that spent years ranting about “believe all women”—until their own members get accused. Suddenly, it’s all about “due process” and “waiting for the facts.” What convenient amnesia. Ordinary Americans see through this fake concern for “justice.” The system is broken when one side gets a free pass and the rest are punished for their politics.
If Democrats like Swalwell can’t follow basic decency, why should anyone trust them with power? Hypocrisy, arrogance, and a total lack of morals—that’s the real legacy of the left. At this point, is anyone really surprised by the latest liberal scandal?
