The same celebrities who flood social media to shout “Believe All Women” are suddenly nowhere to be found now that Democrat Eric Swalwell stands accused of sexual misconduct. Several women came forward, sharing chilling stories about the congressman’s unwanted advances—even rape allegations. Where are the righteous hashtags now?
For years, these left-wing stars built their brand on pretending to care about victims—so long as it made conservatives look bad. Republican targets get dragged through the mud, guilty until proven innocent. But when accusations land on one of their favorite Democrats, it’s like the cat’s got their tongue. Their selective outrage exposes the entire MeToo show as nothing but a Hollywood PR stunt.
Of course, there’s always a washed-up, C-list celebrity desperate for relevance who’ll tweet something half-hearted. But the A-list crowd—the real megaphones of Hollywood—act like they don’t even know Swalwell exists. All that talk about “justice” and “accountability” crumbles the moment it gets inconvenient for their political tribe.
This is classic left-wing hypocrisy. They love to act morally superior, as if they set the standard for America’s values. But let their own side get caught, and suddenly they’re silent. These are the same people who cozy up to globalist agendas and sneer at anyone who still believes in American decency. Now, faced with real allegations, they’d rather run for the hills than risk offending their Democrat pals.
Maybe Americans are tired of being lectured by Hollywood frauds who only pretend to care. If these celebrities really stood for women, wouldn’t they speak up against any alleged predator, no matter what party he’s in? Or do their double standards run so deep they’re beyond shame?
