When Americans were suffering and our country was in chaos, a Michigan man was allegedly busy milking the government for $5 million in COVID relief cash. Federal agents swept up this West Bloomfield hustler, charging him with everything from wire fraud to money laundering. All while real families and small businesses were struggling to put food on the table. He allegedly cooked up businesses out of thin air, padded payrolls, and filed phony paperwork just to bleed taxpayers dry. This is what happens when Washington opens the floodgates without demanding real accountability.
And where was the left? They were busy campaigning for endless relief spending with no strings attached, waving the cash cannon around and calling anyone who asked questions a heartless monster. This is the ugly fruit of their “trust everyone” fantasy land, where common sense is a dirty word and fraud was basically invited in with open arms. Liberals love to grow government, but they’re nowhere to be found when it comes time to make sure the money isn’t just vanishing into the pockets of scammers and crooks.
This guy’s alleged scheme—to claim dozens of fake employees and pretend his made-up companies needed half a million in payroll every month—shows just how easy it was to game the system. Meanwhile, honest business owners couldn’t get their calls answered while bureaucrats rubber-stamped these scams. But hey, at least the IRS is now finally following the money. Too bad it took years of taxpayer dollars evaporating before anyone started caring.
And let’s talk about this so-called fraud “Task Force” finally working to clean up the mess. They’re trumpeting their tough new National Fraud Enforcement Division—because apparently the endless alphabet soup of agencies wasn’t enough. Only when the magnitude of the waste hit home did politicians start looking concerned. It’s almost as if they forgot the money belonged to you and me. America doesn’t need more government bloat or more empty promises—we need old-fashioned common sense and ironclad oversight.
All these stories—fraudsters in Michigan, Iowa, North Carolina, South Carolina—are proof the system is broken and the left’s big spending culture is a disaster for hard-working Americans. Maybe next time, they’ll put taxpayers before grifters. But don’t hold your breath. Shouldn’t politicians be held to the same standard they love to use on regular folks? Or is letting crooks run wild the liberal model of “progress”?
