California’s so-called “golden boy” for governor, Democrat Eric Swalwell, is learning the hard way that chickens always come home to roost. Now, one of his own former staffers has stepped forward accusing him of something horrifying—sexual assault. And it doesn’t end there. Three more women have pointed fingers at Swalwell for other twisted misconduct. The left’s favorite virtue signaler is looking more like a wolf in sheep’s clothing each day.
It’s business as usual for Democrats: pretend to be the party of “believe all women” until it’s one of their own in the crosshairs. Remember how fast the media and liberal elites pounced in the Kavanaugh case—screaming for blood without a shred of proof? Now, when one of their media darlings gets accused of rape, the silence is deafening. Apparently, for the Left, sexual assault is only a crime if a Republican is accused.
And what does Swalwell have to say? He denies everything, but suddenly admits he’s made “mistakes” he needs to fix with his wife. That sounds like classic damage control for a liberal politician with dirty hands. Spare the crocodile tears—if Republicans ever muttered words like that, the mob would be dragging their names through the mud and demanding resignation before breakfast.
Let’s not forget Swalwell’s greatest hits: endless lectures about Trump’s supposed corruption, nonstop yapping about Russian spies, and demonizing anyone who loved the Constitution. Now we’re supposed to believe this man is fit to lead California? If California’s Democrat establishment props him up after this, it’s a clear message—power comes first, women come last, and the truth means nothing to them.
It’s obvious double standards are alive and well for the liberal elite. Their “rules for thee, not for me” arrogance gets more disgusting by the day. How many women have to speak up before Democrats practice what they preach? Or do they only care about justice when it’s useful for grabbing more votes and destroying their enemies?
