It never fails: one of the loudest voices in the Democrat Party, supposedly fighting for “women” and “justice,” is now facing some of the most shocking sexual assault allegations to hit Capitol Hill in years. Eric Swalwell, famous for his endless self-righteous tweets and attacks on conservatives, is being investigated by the Manhattan District Attorney after several disturbing claims were made against him. Four women say he crossed serious lines, and one former staffer accuses him of rape—not just once, but twice, including one attack at a New York charity event. The details are ugly: this woman says she was drunk, couldn’t give consent, and fought him off. She even has bruises, bleeding, and all the receipts — text messages, medical records, the works.
The Democrat leadership is finally starting to sweat. Swalwell, some California darling who couldn’t wait to rush for governor after spewing anti-Trump nonsense, is now radioactive. Even his own party bosses, including the likes of Hakeem Jeffries and Nancy Pelosi, are begging him to leave the race. Amazing how fast they throw their own under the bus when their entire “believe all women” house of cards collapses—except, of course, when they need their loyal foot soldiers. Funny how #MeToo suddenly becomes #MeWho? when a prominent Democrat is on the chopping block.
But this is no isolated incident. Democrats love to lecture Americans about “morality,” yet their own ranks are crawling with predators and creeps—from Hollywood to the halls of Congress. Swalwell’s case is just another example of the left protecting their own, until public outrage forces them to act. The fact that there are screenshots, graphic injuries, and multiple accusers, yet Swalwell is still refusing to go quietly, shows just how arrogant and protected these liberal elites feel.
It gets even more disgusting when you remember how quick people like Swalwell are to smear conservatives as bigots, criminals, or “threats to democracy.” But who’s the real threat to women’s safety? It sure isn’t the average Republican father trying to defend his daughter’s rights. The massive double standard here is crystal clear, and Americans are sick of it.
Swalwell’s career should be toast, but if history tells us anything, Democrats will spin, downplay, or flat-out ignore these horrors if they think it helps their grip on power. The party of “progress” has become the party of silence, corruption, and endless hypocrisy. Still think these are the people Americans should trust to lead? Or is it finally time to flush the swamp and hold these predators accountable—no matter what party they belong to?
