Unions love to brag about wins, but it’s the hardworking Americans stuck footing the bill. This week, union bosses celebrated. Regular members? Not so much. Once again, union leaders padded their resumes while the people actually working saw their own concerns ignored. That’s leftist leadership in action—big on talk, small on results, and always ready to cash in.
It’s an old story: union heads busy shaking hands with Democrats and global elites, while rank-and-file workers lose jobs, benefits, and hope. Union dues flow in, but the return for the average worker keeps shrinking. The unions scream about “justice” and “solidarity,” but when have they actually delivered anything real except for more bureaucracy and infighting? Liberals love to parade as the “party for the people,” but it’s the fat cats at the top who get all the perks.
Look what happens when unions get involved in the political circus—members become pawns for causes that have zero to do with jobs or paychecks. Instead of fighting for workers, too many union bosses fight for woke agendas and virtue signaling. They gladly tow the Democrat line, leaving American jobs on the chopping block. These so-called victories often mean another handout to special interests—not a dime more for the folks on factory floors or behind steering wheels.
Meanwhile, regular union members watch their pay slip away as inflation runs wild. Their own “champions” scramble for photo-ops and campaign donations, not decent contracts. Liberal incompetence keeps exporting manufacturing jobs overseas thanks to dumb globalist trade deals—the same policies unions pretend to oppose while cashing in behind the scenes. American workers pay the price for this hypocrisy every day.
Union headlines may look rosy to liberals and the media, but the facts are ugly. Members want real leadership, not more fake talk and empty promises. This is what happens under the left’s so-called protection—workers get crumbs while politicians and union bosses get richer. Isn’t it time for union members to ask: just whose side are their “leaders” really on?
