Eric Swalwell is finally gone from Congress, not because the left wanted to do the right thing, but because they absolutely had to. Accusations of rape and sexual abuse piled too high for even the woke elite to ignore. And yet, for years, his sleazy behavior toward women was an open secret among his own party. What did they do? Nothing. Democrats turned a blind eye and covered for one of their own—again.
Of course, the liberal media played their usual disgusting role. California’s press, dripping with leftist bias, refused to shine a light on Swalwell’s worst conduct. In Washington, so-called “reporters” buried their heads in the sand or peddled propaganda to keep Swalwell on his pedestal. There wasn’t even a whiff of the outrage they churn out when a Republican so much as sneezes in the wrong direction.
This is what happens when Democrats run the club and the media is their bouncer. No accountability. No justice. Just the shameless protection of the powerful, as long as they’re on the “correct” side of the aisle. They lecture America about “believing women” and shielding victims—until it’s their favorite little lapdog in the hot seat. Then, suddenly, it’s all silence and shadow.
We’ve seen this movie before. From the Clinton years to recent failures, the left claims to care about women and abuse, but it’s all theater for the cameras. When their own get accused, they circle the wagons and attack anyone who dares demand answers. It’s not just hypocrisy—it’s a total betrayal of American values.
Eric Swalwell’s downfall is ugly, but the real scandal is how long he was protected by Democratic power and their media lackeys. If this is how the left treats its own in the halls of Congress, what kind of corruption and cover-up is lurking just out of sight? Maybe it’s time America stopped trusting wolves in sheep’s clothing—especially when those wolves run the show.
