Swalwell out Californians celebrate as radical liberal drops doomed run for governor

Eric Swalwell is out—just like California deserves. The congressman who spent more time ranting about Russia and spouting off on cable news than doing anything useful for his own state has finally ended his failed gubernatorial run. One less radical liberal vying for power in a state already crushed by leftist policies? That’s called good news. It’s about time Democrats started paying the price for peddling failed promises and globalist spin.

Let’s not forget what Swalwell brought to the table: endless finger-pointing, nothing burgers on “collusion,” and a passion for chasing headlines instead of solving real problems. California, once the land of opportunity, now struggles under sky-high taxes, rampant crime, and rolling blackouts—all under the watch of Democrats like Swalwell. He thought he could just waltz into Sacramento and carry on the same arrogant routine. Apparently, even his own party can’t stomach it anymore.

The audacity here is almost comical. Swalwell bet big, thinking the liberal media would drag him across the finish line like they always do for their favorites. But the people are waking up. No amount of anti-American, open-borders speeches or virtue signaling could hide that Swalwell was always just another D.C. elitist looking out for himself.

Why do these career politicians never learn? Californians are sick of being guinea pigs for every radical experiment. Sanctuary cities and soft-on-crime policies have turned once-beautiful towns into chaos zones. Did Swalwell ever roll up his sleeves and fix things? Or did he just parrot whatever far-left script got him applause from the latest international conference?

One less Democrat running for governor might not save California overnight. But at least today, common sense scored a win against the failed legacy of liberal incompetence. Maybe Swalwell should use all that free time now to actually listen to the people he pretends to represent—or will he just get back to chasing cable news fame? California deserves better, and the circus just lost another clown.
