The Left and their global pals are wringing their hands once again—this time, because President Trump dared to criticize Pope Leo XIV over the Vatican’s stance on the U.S.-Israel war in Iran. Instead of defending Western values or showing strength against America’s enemies, the Pope wants to act as the world’s moral referee. Sorry, but while the Vatican might have their heads in the clouds, the rest of the world deals with threats that faith alone won’t stop.
The Pope says he’s all about peace and reconciliation. That’s a nice idea—on paper. But when rockets fly and our allies in Israel face real danger, the time for empty gestures and vague prayers is over. The Vatican’s way means doing nothing while chaos burns from Tehran to Jerusalem. Is that what globalists want for the West—timid leaders who apologize instead of act?
Let’s not pretend that a call for “debate” or a fear of robust discussions is leadership. What Americans want—what America needs—is backbone. President Trump isn’t afraid to speak the truth. Meanwhile, Pope Leo hides behind spiritual platitudes, too afraid to call out the real aggressors. The world doesn’t need more lectures from elites in Rome who turn a blind eye to violence against the Jewish state, or who think every fight can be solved by a hug.
Where are the Vatican’s strong words for Iran, the country fueling these horrors? Where is the outrage from liberal leaders when innocent people suffer under radical regimes? Make no mistake: the Pope’s lukewarm response is music to the ears of America-haters everywhere—and it’s the same soft approach the Left pushes day in and day out.
This is exactly why people flocked to Trump in the first place. Americans are sick of toothless elites siding with global interests over real solutions. Maybe it’s time for the Vatican to step down from its moral pedestal and realize: a strong America—and a safe Israel—make the world a better place. Or would the “peacemakers” rather see our enemies win?
