President Joe Biden has done it again. This time, during a visit to his old stomping grounds at Syracuse University, he managed to embarrass himself—and the nation—once more. The supposed leader of the free world called a black man onstage during his own portrait unveiling, then compared him to Barack Obama, as though all black men look the same to him. Of course, the liberal media will probably just call it another Biden “gaffe.” But let’s be honest: this isn’t just awkward. It’s insulting.
Every single time Biden opens his mouth, Americans hold their breath. Is it another bizarre rant or just more evidence that his grasp of reality is slipping away? Liberals love to talk about “diversity” and “inclusion,” but their chosen president seems stuck in the past, relying on tired stereotypes and virtue signaling. If a Republican pulled a stunt like this, the outrage would be endless. But when Biden does it, the left says it’s just “Joe being Joe.” The hypocrisy is stunning.
Let’s not overlook the deeper issue. This is the same guy who lectures the world about race and touts his record on civil rights. Yet here he is, reducing a black man to a punchline at his own celebration. It’s almost as if Biden only sees people by the color of their skin, not by the content of their character. They say he’s “unifying the country,” but moments like this just sow more division.
Even at a university event that’s supposed to honor his achievements, Biden isn’t capable of acting like a statesman for even five minutes. He drags private citizens into his own circus, then tries to score cheap political points by connecting them to Obama. Is this really the best the Democrats have to offer? Because what America needs is a leader with strength and common sense, not a confused globalist with a habit of putting his foot in his mouth.
Meanwhile, the liberal press keeps making excuses, pushing their tired agenda, and hoping the American people don’t notice. But voters see the reality. They’re sick of being talked down to by a political elite that lives in its own bubble. If Biden can’t be trusted to handle a friendly crowd at his alma mater, how can he possibly stand up to China, Russia, or even the chaos in his own party? Or maybe the real question is: how much longer are we supposed to accept this embarrassment on the world stage?
