Once again, the Democrats can’t help themselves. They just rolled out another wild scheme to undermine President Trump, this time with a “commission” straight out of a bad political thriller. Rep. Jamie Raskin, darling of the anti-Trump left, wants a panel of doctors, shrinks, and deep-state bureaucrats to judge if Trump is “fit” to serve—because apparently, voters’ opinions in 2016 and 2020 mean nothing to these people.
Let’s be honest—this isn’t about health, mental or physical. It’s about Democrats holding on to power by any means necessary. Every time they lose an election, they try to rewrite the rules or drag the 25th Amendment out of the closet, hoping to erase results they don’t like. It’s the same tired playbook: smear Trump, brand his voters as unhinged, and set up shadowy new panels to decide who’s worthy of the Oval Office.
Sure, the White House blasted Raskin’s idea, and who could blame them? Even for a party known for embarrassing stunts, this is a spectacular new low. The suggestion that DC insiders and a handful of “experts” should be able to overrule millions of Americans is not just arrogant—it’s the definition of anti-democratic. Liberals love to warn about threats to the republic, but they’re the ones who keep plotting to trash the Constitution whenever it suits them.
If Democrats spent half as much time helping hardworking Americans as they do trying to sideline their political enemies, maybe the country wouldn’t be dealing with skyrocketing prices, open borders, and globalist sellouts. But we all know that’s not what motivates Raskin and his big-government pals. Their real goal is power, plain and simple, and they’re not above using fake commissions or media scare tactics to get it.
Ask yourself: if Trump was such a threat, why are they so terrified of letting the people decide at the ballot box? Maybe deep down, they know that Americans are sick and tired of liberal witch hunts. Because the only thing more desperate than another 25th Amendment sideshow is the left’s fantasy that voters are too stupid to see through it.
