It looks like the Biden administration is at it again, quietly pushing an executive order that would force banks to collect citizenship information on their customers. The arrogance is unbelievable. Liberals preach about privacy and civil liberties, but the second they think it will give them more control, they toss those ideas right out the window.
You can’t open a checking account or even cash a paycheck without getting grilled about your background, but the same people fighting this order have no problem letting illegal immigrants flood across the border without a single question. It’s almost like they care more about protecting criminals than they do about protecting Americans and their money.
Some so-called experts claim this isn’t unreasonable. They say it’s just like in the United Kingdom, where landlords have to know exactly who lives in their buildings. But newsflash: this is America, not a globalist playground. We don’t take orders from Brussels or London, and we shouldn’t let banks treat hardworking Americans like suspects in their own country.
Let’s face it—the left would rather give free passes to lawbreakers than keep our financial system secure. Meanwhile, when regular citizens make honest transactions, suddenly the government is desperate to know everything about them. It’s hypocrisy at its worst, and it exposes how anti-American their priorities have become.
If the Biden crowd wants to play Big Brother, maybe it’s time the American people remind them who really owns this country. Should banks become the new immigration police, or should we start demanding real leadership from Washington? The people know the answer—even if our so-called leaders pretend they don’t.
