Omaha police save child from knife attack but the left still blames the cops

It happened again. America’s police do the dirty work we all hope we’ll never have to see—and once again, the radical left will find some twisted way to blame the officers. In Omaha, police had no choice but to use deadly force after a woman, already accused of kidnapping a child, threatened that same child with a knife right in front of them. This isn’t some made-up tale to scare you. This is the reality on our streets when liberal policies let criminals run wild and tie cops’ hands.

The facts are clear. After answering a 911 call, officers found a dangerous woman outside a store. Instead of surrendering, she started slashing at the innocent child she was holding hostage. The poor boy was cut across the face, a horror that no child should ever endure. Yet what do the “defund the police” crowd have to say? They’ll probably call her a “victim” and complain about how the suspect was treated.

This is exactly what happens when Democrats and their activist allies treat criminals as misunderstood victims and call police “oppressors.” The left is more worried about criminals’ rights than the safety of our children. Meanwhile, parents and decent citizens are left to wonder: if police hadn’t acted fast and decisively, would that child have survived? The answer is as obvious as it is scary.

Let’s stop pretending. When evil people threaten children, there is no time for soft talk and “de-escalation training.” The officers in Omaha did what any true American would expect—they protected the innocent, no matter what the social justice mob thinks. Every day, police officers risk their lives because weak politicians have abandoned law and order in favor of chaos.

Yet this incident will probably be twisted into another anti-police story in liberal newsrooms and activist Twitter feeds. Will we see marches for the child? Or will it be another round of empty slogans about “police brutality” while real victims keep suffering? Here’s a reality check: if we want safer communities, we need to back the blue, not bash them. When will the woke left finally care more about our children than about coddling criminals?
