Longtime California powerbroker Nancy Pelosi claims she had zero idea that Eric Swalwell, one of her inner circle and a loudmouth liberal darling, was a walking scandal. The same Swalwell who’s now facing multiple allegations of serious sexual misconduct, including shockingly brutal acts against women—even rape. The same Swalwell who wasn’t just an embarrassment on TV, but apparently a nightmare behind closed doors.
Pelosi’s claim that she was totally clueless just doesn’t pass the smell test. Here’s a woman who runs her caucus with an iron fist. She knows the color of every tie and the tone of every email. Yet we’re supposed to buy that she had no warning about the behavior of a guy she promoted and defended for years? This is the Democrat playbook: Deny, deflect, and blame everyone else when their own rotten apples get caught.
Let’s be real. If this was a Republican accused of such heinous actions, Nancy Pelosi and her friends would be holding press conferences on the Capitol steps before sunrise. They’d call it proof of “GOP rot.” Suddenly it’s one of their own, and the same people sprint to the nearest microphone to pretend they had nothing to do with it. The rules are always different for Democrats, and Pelosi is their queen of cover-ups.
Swalwell didn’t just fall from grace—he face-planted. It took multiple women coming forward, detailed stories, and a looming threat of expulsion just to get him to resign. Where were the “believe all women” cries this time, Nancy? Where was the urgency? One accuser says she was attacked as a young staffer working for him. Another alleges she was assaulted at a public charity event. All this happened right under Pelosi’s nose, and she still expects the public to smile and nod along.
Pelosi calls Swalwell’s resignation “the right thing.” What a joke. The right thing would’ve been prioritizing victims, not the Democrat Party’s image. But for liberals, it’s always about the show, the spin, and keeping the dirty secrets in the blue family. Americans are sick of the double standards. Either these so-called leaders are hopelessly disconnected—or they’re completely shameless. You decide.
