Eric Swalwell just gave America a perfect example of liberal hypocrisy. As he quietly stepped down from Congress, he whined about being denied “due process.” That’s quite a joke coming from a man who stood shoulder to shoulder with Democrats denying those very rights to countless Americans.
Let’s not forget: When conservatives were targeted during endless Russiagate investigations or witch-hunt impeachments, Swalwell was right there cheering it on. Republicans and Trump supporters? No due process for them. Just endless accusations, show trials, and cancel culture in full swing. But now, suddenly, Swalwell expects everyone to cry for him because he doesn’t like how he’s being treated.
This is the kind of double standard that drives people crazy. The left wants rules for everyone else—except themselves. When their own are caught up in scandal or controversy, liberals suddenly discover the importance of fairness and justice. But when they’re taking down conservatives, due process vanishes in a puff of smoke.
Swalwell’s entire career was built on attacking his political opponents. He spread conspiracy theories, ruined reputations, and helped make American politics even nastier. And all this while cozying up to globalists and, let’s not forget, literally getting heat for his strange connections to a Chinese spy. But now it’s all about “his rights” after years of trampling on everyone else’s.
Why is it that Democrats only remember the Constitution when they think it will save their own skin? Swalwell’s demands are more than just embarrassing—they’re proof that the entire liberal elite cares only about power. When they lose it, they cry foul. Maybe Swalwell should’ve thought about basic rights before helping his own party rip them away from Americans who disagree. If you can’t handle the heat, maybe you shouldn’t torch the kitchen in the first place.
