America is finally seeing results. Under Trump’s watch, legal immigration plummeted by nearly half. That’s right—fifty percent fewer new citizens making their way in while hardworking Americans get a fighting chance to recover. While Democrats have spent years opening the floodgates and rolling out the red carpet for people who barely even know the Pledge of Allegiance, Trump’s team made sure the system put Americans first.
This wasn’t an accident. Trump’s deputies reviewed every application with tough, common-sense standards that make liberals shudder. For too long, politicians on the left have let globalist interests run the show, treating our borders like suggestions and our citizenship like a party favor. Trump’s team sent a message: America’s house, America’s rules.
Of course, the left-wing media will scream about “diversity” and “tolerance.” But regular folks know what’s really been happening. Decades of weak policies have watered down what it means to be an American. The people in charge seemed more interested in scoring points with international elites than standing up for the people who built this country. Trump refused to play that game. He put the brakes on mass legal immigration, and the numbers do not lie.
Liberals will cry about fewer people getting fast-tracked for citizenship, but that’s just political theater. What about the millions already here, struggling to hold on to jobs, safety, and the traditions that make America special? The left is more worried about global approval than about Americans footing the bill for their endless virtue-signaling. Trump actually did something about it.
The era of “come one, come all,” regardless of American needs, is finally fading. Cutting legal immigration by half is a step in the right direction, and it’s still not enough for some of us. Maybe it’s time liberals ask themselves—whose side are they really on? America deserves a government with the spine to put its own citizens first, and that’s exactly what Trump delivered.
