Governor Abigail Spanberger is doing everything possible to shred the Constitution in the name of “public safety.” Her so-called “suggestions” are nothing less than a full-on assault on our Second Amendment freedoms. It’s a slick liberal move: promise “reasonable reform,” then ram through rules that punish law-abiding citizens while criminals get a free pass.
Spanberger’s playbook is painfully obvious. She’s relying on the old Democrat tricks—scare the public, inflate crime numbers, and pretend confiscating guns from responsible Virginians will actually make anyone safer. Here’s the truth: Nothing in her plan stops criminals. All it does is make it harder for regular folks to defend themselves and their families. That’s liberal logic in action—punish the innocent and empower the lawless.
Anyone who actually reads the law knows these measures aren’t about public safety—they’re about power. Democrats want total control, and the easiest way to get it is by disarming the people. It’s the same globalist, anti-American nonsense we’ve seen destroy freedom elsewhere. First, they chip away at your rights, and before you know it, government bureaucrats are deciding whether or not you get to protect your own home.
What’s worse, Spanberger and her allies insult the intelligence of every Virginian. They pretend they care about victims, but ignore the fact that these restrictions make it nearly impossible for someone facing real danger to fight back. Liberals wine and dine on their “gun-free zone” rhetoric, while hardworking Americans pay the price with their safety and peace of mind.
Virginians have a choice: rise up or roll over. It’s going to take grit and backbone to stop this naked grab for our rights. If we let Spanberger win, it won’t stop in Virginia—every other blue state will rush to copy her madness. How much more of this anti-freedom, anti-American nonsense are we going to tolerate? If the people don’t stand up now, they might as well start waving the white flag.
