Kamala Harris is at it again, playing the victim over high gas prices as if Americans have forgotten who was in charge when prices shot through the roof. This is the same Kamala Harris who watched gas prices hit record highs during her administration, leaving working families scrambling to fill up their tanks. Now, she’s pretending to be just as shocked as the rest of us, as if she hasn’t been in one of the most powerful offices in the country the entire time.
It’s laughable and infuriating. The left caused this crisis with their war on American energy—shutting down pipelines, hamstringing drilling, and bowing down to globalist green zealots. When Conservatives warned about the pain at the pump, we were mocked. Now even Harris can’t handle the mess her administration created, but she expects us to believe none of it is her fault.
Liberals love to talk about caring for the little guy, but their actions always end up crushing the middle class. Gas prices soared to the highest in U.S. history while Harris and her boss spent more time lecturing America about climate change than actually fixing the economy or lowering costs. Did they really think endless regulations and higher taxes on oil producers wouldn’t come back to bite the average citizen?
Instead of fixing it, they whine and deflect blame. They’re more comfortable scolding Americans for driving trucks and SUVs than taking responsibility for broken policies. Meanwhile, those who can least afford soaring costs are paying the price—literally. The elite leftists in D.C. seem more concerned about keeping their donors happy than helping families who depend on affordable fuel to survive.
How much longer must Americans suffer the hypocritical lectures from leaders who cause the problems then play innocent when it backfires? If Kamala Harris can’t stand the heat, maybe it’s time she stopped burning down the kitchen.
