For decades, American leaders have bent over backward to make China happy, hoping the communist regime would finally play fair. But China keeps cheating, lying, and breaking its promises again and again. Everyone knows it, but shockingly, the political left just keeps looking the other way. They want us to stay quiet, keep sending jobs overseas, and bow down to Beijing in the name of “global cooperation.” Enough is enough.
Donald Trump didn’t play by their cowardly, globalist rules. He stood up and stared China right in the face. Some liberals in Washington gasped and clutched their pearls. Trump made it clear: China doesn’t keep its end of the bargain, so why should America keep pretending? He put tariffs on Chinese goods. He called out their unfair trade practices. Unlike past presidents who promised tough talk but delivered nothing, Trump actually acted.
While elite Democrats love to talk about “resetting relations,” all that gets us is more fake smiles from the Chinese government and more American jobs lost. Liberals act shocked when China ignores their empty agreements. But history tells us the truth: China simply doesn’t stick to any deal that hurts its own interests. Pretending otherwise is pure fantasy—or maybe just cowardice.
The liberal obsession with appeasing China is both foolish and dangerous. While they gossip in D.C. cocktail parties and pat each other on the back for keeping things “civil,” the Chinese regime laughs and walks all over us. Beijing respects one thing: strength, not weakness. Trump understood this basic principle, and America was better off for it.
So the next time a liberal politician promises a “new era” of cooperation with China, ask yourself: How many times do we have to get burned before we finally learn? Standing up to a bully is the only language China understands—and Trump’s America wasn’t afraid to speak it loud and clear.
