Trump unleashes America’s power in the Middle East and Iran is finally feeling the heat

America is finally showing some backbone in the Middle East. President Trump isn’t playing games with Iran, and it’s about time. Reports say Trump is getting ready to come down hard—real hard—on Iranian ships. For too long, Iran has bullied the world by threatening to close off the Strait of Hormuz, holding global energy supplies hostage. The left sits around wringing their hands, terrified of offending mad mullahs, but Trump? He’s about to crush their little games.

The Iranian regime has always used slick tricks and double talk. Now their foreign minister is claiming the Strait is “open”—but only if ships use their chosen path. What a joke! Since when do enemies of freedom get to dictate the free world’s shipping routes? Weak-kneed liberals would have us bow to Iran’s demands. Not this administration. Trump understands that American leadership means standing tall, not groveling for “permission” from a terror-supporting regime.

For decades, globalists and their pals on the left have been happy to look the other way as Iran built up its power. They gripe about “escalation” any time we push back. Meanwhile, Iranian ships move weapons and cash for terrorists—and the left says we should “respect sovereignty.” Whose sovereignty, exactly? Iranian terrorists, or American families who depend on safe and affordable energy? Shameful.

Here’s what real leadership looks like: When Trump draws a line, he means it. Iran might think it can strut on the world stage and call the shots, but not anymore. If their ships threaten international waters, Trump is ready to hit back with force. That’s how you stop bullies—by reminding them the United States is still the world’s top dog, not some lapdog for the global elite.

The Biden crowd would probably host a tea party with mullahs if it meant keeping “peace,” even as Americans pay more at the pump and the world spins out of control. Trump’s America isn’t afraid to challenge evil, and that’s exactly what Iran’s regime is—evil. Why should we ever let them dictate terms on anything? Maybe it’s time the left remembered which side they’re supposed to be on: America’s.

If only every president had the guts to stand up to tyrants. Is that really too much to ask? Americans are hungry for a leader who won’t back down—and, for once, the world is getting a reminder of what American strength really looks like.
