California judge blocks Trump energy order while gas prices soar and elites celebrate

Once again, California’s liberal elites believe they outrank the Commander-in-Chief. Just look at what’s happening in Santa Barbara County. A single county judge out there thinks she has the power to override the President of the United States when it comes to America’s energy future. Forget Congress, forget democracy—apparently, the radical left just needs a friendly courtroom to stop a war-time energy order dead in its tracks.

President Trump did what any smart leader would do. Faced with sky-high energy prices and threats abroad, he used the Defense Production Act to boost stable, homegrown oil. Sable Offshore Corp. was ready to pump out 60,000 barrels a day—American energy for American families. That would mean lower prices at the pump and jobs for workers here, not handouts to hostile regimes overseas.

But no, the limousine liberals running California can’t have that. Instead of helping working Americans fill their gas tanks and heat their homes, the left would rather let activists in black robes shield their Green New Deal fantasies. All it took was one judge, sitting in a ritzy Santa Barbara courtroom, to decide that her personal ideology mattered more than the needs of an entire country.

This isn’t environmental protection; it’s sabotage. It’s elite arrogance at its worst. Team Biden and his friends in California talk a big game about democracy—unless voters or their elected president want something that makes real economic sense. They won’t say it out loud, but they’d rather America rely on foreign oil, enriching dictators and undermining our national security, than let our own workers feed their families and power the nation.

The left’s hypocrisy is endless. When a judge sides with their globalist vision, they call it justice. When America-first policies threaten their cozy climate clubs, they scream about “overreach.” Who gave a local judge the right to hold the whole country hostage?

While regular folks pay more at the pump and America’s enemies get richer, the liberal elite sip lattes and congratulate themselves for “saving the planet.” Who voted for these activists in robes, anyway?
