Republicans have always been the party of hard work, personal freedom, and American pride. So why are some leaders suddenly cozying up to unions, those old relics that act more like Democrat super PACs than worker advocates? This isn’t just an odd couple—this is a flat-out bad romance that’s going to hurt our country.
Union deals might look good in campaign speeches, but here’s what they really mean: higher prices at the store, slower tech breakthroughs, and more headaches for American businesses trying to beat China. When unions have the power, it’s everyday people who end up paying more. Groceries, gas, electronics—prices go up, and families feel the pain. That’s the union tax, and it hits the poor and middle class the hardest.
Let’s not kid ourselves. Unions today aren’t fighting for the little guy. They’re backing greedy bureaucrats, radical leftists, and failed liberal policies. They block progress, bog down job creators in red tape, and make it harder for American companies to compete worldwide. The winners are the fat-cat union bosses and the globalists cheering America’s decline.
Meanwhile, liberal hypocrisy is off the charts. The same Democrats who babble about fairness are bankrolled by union money, while doing nothing as union rules kill small businesses. Liberals love unions because they hate the free market, hate competition, and don’t care if American goods fall behind. Handing unions more power is like handing China our lunch.
So why are some Republicans falling for this? Maybe they’re starstruck by a few endorsements. Maybe they think union backing will win votes in swing states. Or maybe, just maybe, they’ve forgotten who they’re supposed to fight for—the proud American worker, not the corrupt union machine. If the GOP keeps flirting with union bosses, don’t be surprised when prices rise, innovation stalls, and America falls further behind. Whose side are they on, anyway?
