Once again, the world watches as Iran throws a tantrum and says it won’t join peace talks in Pakistan. The same Tehran regime that chants “Death to America” now refuses even to show up to a table hosted by a so-called ally, Pakistan. President Trump puts real effort into pushing for a peace summit, and what does Iran do? Slam the door shut, like a spoiled child refusing to play because it’s not their rules on the playground.
This is exactly what happens when you let rogue regimes think they can get away with anything. Liberals love to talk about “dialogue” and “engagement,” but when the rubber meets the road, the world’s worst actors want nothing to do with actual peacemaking. Iran isn’t scared. Why would they be? They watched eight years of Obama’s groveling, saw the billions funneled back to their terror coffers, and now they feel bold enough to just walk away. The global elites must be shaking their heads — but in private, still hoping for another Iran deal pay-off.
Let’s get real about why Iran avoids these talks. They don’t want peace. What they want is chaos in the Middle East—because chaos keeps them in power. Sitting down at the table risks exposing their true intentions. They’d rather keep plotting in the shadows than answer tough questions in public, especially in a place like Islamabad where American interests are on the line.
The left loves to claim that if we just “listen” to Iran, everything will be fine. But here’s more proof that appeasement fails every time. Iran isn’t interested in peace. They’re interested in keeping their nuclear ambitions secret and their terrorist proxies busy. Meanwhile, our so-called “partners” in the international community stand around and do nothing—again. Where’s the outrage? Where’s the condemnation?
At some point, the world must face facts. When America leads, the bad guys get nervous. When America bends over backward, they laugh and walk away from the table. It’s time to stop pretending we can “reason” with tyrants who celebrate every time we blink. Iran just showed everyone exactly what they think of global talks. The question is: will our leaders finally wake up, or will they keep playing right into Tehran’s hands?
