Baylor University Blocks Locals From Border Debate What Are They Hiding

It should come as no surprise that Baylor University is showing its true colors, once again bowing to campus radicals and anti-conservative hysteria. This week, the university pulled a cowardly stunt by blocking Waco citizens from attending an event featuring Tom Homan, the former “border czar” under President Trump. Who’s scared of a little honest talk about our border crisis? Clearly, Baylor’s liberal leadership.

Turning Point USA tried to bring some much-needed truth and debate to campus. Instead, Baylor’s administration put up a big, fat barricade. Regular folks from the Waco area, who actually live with the fallout of Biden’s open-borders disaster, are now being kept out. The school’s excuse is thin. There’s no real reason the event should be locked away from the community, except fear—fear of real discussion, fear of facts, and fear of patriotic Americans standing up for secure borders.

It’s another pathetic example of how America’s universities have become playgrounds for left-wing ideologues. They pretend to care about open dialogue, but they slam the door shut anytime that dialogue threatens their narrative. Baylor just showed the world that they care more about pleasing woke activists than serving Texas families who want safe communities and honest solutions.

Let’s be clear: this isn’t just about Tom Homan or Turning Point USA. This is about a much bigger fight. Elites at places like Baylor are trying to silence anyone who dares to question their globalist agenda. They want open borders, weak national pride, and classrooms filled with groupthink instead of real debate. And when courageous American voices try to push back, liberal administrators panic and hide.

The Waco community deserves to hear the truth about our nation’s broken southern border. Baylor’s leadership apparently thinks it’s better to hide behind campus walls, shut out dissent, and pander to the left. If they can’t handle a conservative voice like Tom Homan, how can they possibly claim to be preparing students for the real world? Maybe the real question is, what are they so afraid of?
