The Biden administration may not get much right, but at least one thing is working: the complete humiliation of Iran on the world stage. After years of listening to Democrats wring their hands over “provoking Tehran” and begging to revive a failed nuclear deal, Americans are now witnessing something truly satisfying. The US military just handed Iran a stunning defeat in Operation Epic Fury, locking down their desperate attempts at piracy on the high seas. It’s about time we started treating Iran like the international thugs they are.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt didn’t hold back either. She went on TV and made it crystal clear—the so-called “mighty” Iranian military has been steamrolled. Now, Iran is left scrambling, sticking to pirate tactics instead of acting like a real country. That’s the level of “leadership” the mullahs bring: robbing ships and embarrassing themselves in front of the world. Thank goodness we no longer have to endure liberals apologizing or sending pallets of cash to Tehran.
For years, globalist elites and their media lackeys have argued that “talking” and “diplomacy” will tame Iran. In reality, it’s the strength and resolve of the United States military—and a backbone in the White House—that forced Iran into irrelevance. The global left can’t stand it. No wonder they’re silent now that one of their favorite “victims” just got schooled.
What’s truly absurd is how quickly liberals forget the real threat Iran poses. Instead of backing our country, they whine about “escalating tensions” and worry more about bad press than protecting American interests. It took leadership willing to call Iran out as the pirates they really are. Maybe next time, the left should save their sympathy for actual Americans instead of dictators and thugs.
Maybe this humiliating defeat will finally convince the professional appeasers on the left that America is strongest when we stand up, not bow down. Ask yourself: do you want a government that begs our enemies for mercy, or one that puts pirates in their place?
