Another Democrat Dynasty Ends: David Scott’s Legacy Was Never for the People
Georgia Congressman David Scott has passed away at 80, closing the chapter on yet another long-winded liberal career that did little to serve everyday Americans. There are some in the mainstream media who will act like his time in office was some golden era of leadership. Don’t buy it. For decades, Scott stood with the Democrat machine—a crew better known for playing politics than protecting the core values that made our country great.
Let’s not pretend Scott was some saint for the working man. Year after year, he backed policies that favored bloated government, trampled on small businesses, and handed out taxpayer dollars to globalist interests at the expense of hard-working families. His voting record reads like a playbook for Washington insiders—big spending, big talking, but never actually looking out for the people footing the bill.
America is tired of career politicians like Scott, who believe their seat in Congress is a lifetime entitlement. He represented Georgia, but did he ever stand up to the radical ideas being pushed by the Democrats? Far too often, Scott put party above principle. When it came time to fight for American values, secure our borders, or push back against anti-American nonsense, where was he? Mostly on the wrong side.
Now the question is—will the Democrats keep serving their elite donors and globalist buddies, or will they finally remember the folks they claim to represent? David Scott may be gone, but the swamp he lived in is still very much alive and kicking. Sadly, most in his party seem determined to follow his lead: more spending, more control, less freedom for real Americans.
One less Democratic career politician in Congress is nothing for conservatives to mourn. The real tragedy? That Washington is filled with copycats still banking on the very playbook Scott used for decades. When will America say enough is enough?
