Democrats barely win Virginia vote then scramble to rig maps for power

Yet again, Democrats are celebrating when they barely squeeze by with a win—this time in Virginia’s redistricting referendum. With barely enough support, the left can’t stop boasting, even as they prepare to twist congressional maps for their own gain. Voters should be furious. Governor Abigail Spanberger, of course, is first in line to gloat—practically dancing in the streets because a tiny margin now gives her party outsized power for years.

Isn’t it remarkable how fast the left goes from “every vote matters” to, “now the rules are ours”? They shout about protecting democracy, but the moment they get a sliver of approval, they’re itching to redraw the playing field to keep conservatives out. Let’s be honest: this isn’t about fairness, and it never was. It’s about locking down power—by any means necessary—even if that means torpedoing the people’s trust and rigging the game.

Spanberger loves to talk about how “voters have spoken.” Spoken? More like “whispered under duress.” A referendum that barely scrapes by is not a mandate—it’s a warning sign. But when has that ever stopped Democrats from pretending they’ve won a glorious, sweeping victory? It’s a familiar pattern: squeak out a small win, weaponize the process, and rewrite the rules in your favor before the ink is dry.

Let’s talk about hypocrisy. These are the same globalist liberals who say they care about representation—unless, of course, it means fair maps that allow conservative voices to be heard. They claim they stand for “unity” while openly celebrating a system that silences anyone who disagrees. Year after year, Americans watch the left parade around, hungry for more control, less debate, and total dominance over every inch of political life.

Virginians should ask themselves: who benefits when the boundaries are drawn in the smoke-filled backrooms of the Democratic elite? Certainly not the hardworking, God-fearing families who want honest elections and real choices at the ballot box. It’s the same, tired story—power for the few, at the expense of the many. If this is what passes for “the will of the people,” America is in trouble. Are we just going to stand by and let the left redraw our future to suit their agenda?
