If there’s one thing Americans have grown tired of, it’s politicians acting like they’re above questioning. But Ilhan Omar has taken that arrogance to new lows. Recently, millions of dollars just seemed to evaporate from her campaign finances overnight. Instead of a clear explanation, the public hears a new insult: you’re stupid for even asking.
This is the elitist, out-of-touch attitude that has infected the far-left wing of the Democratic Party. Ordinary citizens are told to sit down, shut up, and never question the financial dealings of their supposed representatives. Omar, of course, expects us to trust her without evidence, as if the people footing the bill don’t have a right to transparency. How convenient for her and her globalist allies who can’t stand the idea of being held accountable.
There was a time when good manners and basic decency were expected in government. Now, we watch as a member of Congress blows up at anyone who dares ask simple questions about massive sums magically disappearing. If her numbers don’t add up, shouldn’t every American demand answers? Apparently, in today’s progressive circus, it’s offensive to want the truth.
But why is it always the same faces on the left who are allergic to accountability? When financial mishandling or bizarre losses hit the news, they act like it’s a crime to ask questions. If a conservative lost millions, you can bet the media and Democrat attack dogs would be calling for investigations and impeachment. Double standards are the real currency of Washington’s ruling class.
Americans are tired of being told they’re dumb or evil for demanding honesty from their leaders. Maybe Ilhan Omar thinks she’s above the rules—above the country she supposedly serves. If you don’t want to answer for missing millions, what exactly are you hiding?
