Once again, the liberal media circus is in full swing, spinning yet another cheap narrative to sow chaos in the Republican ranks. This time, they’re grasping for controversy around supposed GOP “infighting” over the idea of pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell. But Rep. James Comer—never one to back down from a media ambush—gave them exactly what they deserved: a reality check.
Let’s be honest. The legacy press is desperate. When they aren’t busy pushing propaganda for the Biden administration, they’re manufacturing “clickbait” controversy hoping to fracture conservatives. It’s predictable. It’s pitiful. They tried to paint Republicans like Comer as divided, but he kicked that nonsense to the curb fast. The GOP isn’t interested in playing along with the media’s obsession with tabloid drama.
It’s crystal clear what’s happening here. When Democrats and their media lapdogs can’t defend their own messes—soaring crime, open borders, and disastrous economics—they try to distract everybody with wild stories. They want America to believe the right is falling apart over a case involving a notorious criminal. In reality, the only thing falling apart is the Democrats’ grip on the truth.
Clearly, Comer isn’t afraid to call out this kind of transparently biased reporting. The left and their media foot soldiers act like there’s some grand schism forming over Maxwell. The truth? Most everyday Republicans could care less about the left’s criminal enablers getting a pardon. Only the Democrats seem obsessed with using these cases to play politics and dodge responsibility for their own countless scandals.
Maybe the left should look in the mirror. They rushed to defend criminals in their own ranks for years—now they’re obsessed with smearing Republicans over a non-issue. It proves, once more, that Democrats and their activist media simply can’t stop resorting to lies and distraction tactics rather than talking about, you know, fixing the country.
When liberals put more effort into inventing stories than serving Americans, it’s no wonder public trust in the media is in freefall. The real question is: How much longer are conservatives supposed to pretend the mainstream press isn’t just the propaganda wing of the Democrat Party?
