Democrats love to tell the world they’re above the political games. But anyone who’s been paying attention knows that’s a laughable claim. This week, Joy Reid tried to convince people that Democrats don’t “play politics.” It’s almost impressive how shameless some liberals can be.
Enter Maury Povich. Even a guy known for daytime drama had to step in and blow the whistle on that nonsense. Conservatives have seen this kind of gaslighting over and over. Democrats will use every trick in the book when it’s time to protect their power, then act outraged when anyone notices.
Let’s get real. The left has made an art form out of exploiting every crisis, stoking division, and rigging the system in their favor. Yet Joy Reid wants Americans to believe her party is nothing but innocent do-gooders. Are we supposed to ignore pandemic lockdowns, censorship schemes, “mostly peaceful” riots, and backroom deals that somehow always benefit the liberal elite?
What’s truly rich is how liberals cry foul anytime someone calls them out. They talk about “democracy” and “unity,” but only if everyone agrees with them. If not, it’s smear campaigns and cancel culture. They pretend their politics is pure while they weaponize every institution against their enemies—from the media, to big tech, to the so-called justice system.
Maury called it like it is. Americans are sick of the double standards. It’s past time the Democrats dropped the mask and owned up to their own games. After all, if they’re so innocent, why are they always the first ones spinning excuses and shouting down the truth? Maybe Joy Reid should look in the mirror and ask herself if she really thinks the American people are that gullible.
