California’s so-called “debate” for the governor’s race just proved one thing—this state’s leadership is a disaster, and the candidates are clueless about how to fix anything. As the spotlight gets hotter and the noise from Sacramento grows, even the casual voter can see just how broken California has become under liberal rule. This was supposed to be a battle of ideas. Instead, we got more woke slogans, finger-pointing, and the same failed promises that have turned the Golden State into a national punchline.
Anyone paying a shred of attention could tell the candidates are more interested in scoring points with radical activists than serving the people who actually live, work, and suffer under California’s sky-high taxes and endless regulations. Their grand ideas? Keep spending. Keep taxing. Keep shoving globalist nonsense and anti-American policies down everyone’s throats. If there was a plan to secure the border, end the crime wave, or lower prices for gas and groceries, nobody heard it.
Let’s not pretend most of these politicians care about the chaos in California’s streets or schools. The big names up there play musical chairs, acting shocked about homelessness, out-of-control crime, and the mass exodus as hardworking families flee to free states like Texas and Florida. But what do they actually offer? More government spending. More “diversity” programs. More empty promises. The priorities are all backwards—hardworking families get punished, criminals get coddled, and anyone daring to support traditional values gets called “dangerous.”
California used to set the pace for American prosperity. Now, thanks to the liberal establishment, it exports tech billionaires and failed policy experiments. The so-called debate just highlighted how out of touch these candidates are. Not a single one stood up for freedom, parents’ rights, or secure neighborhoods. They obsessed over climate “justice” and “equity,” while the middle class gets squeezed out of their homes.
Here’s the bottom line: as long as California buys what these globalist elites are selling, things are only going to get worse. Is anyone on that crowded debate stage even listening to regular Californians? Or is it just more show for the cameras while the real problems fester? It’s time to stop treating the Golden State like a progressive playground and start fixing the mess liberals created. If not, California just might lose all its shine—for good.
