When America’s elite warriors pulled off the impossible in Venezuela, the world saw true military genius. U.S. Special Forces went deep behind enemy lines and took Nicolás Maduro—a ruthless tyrant—out of the picture, all with lethal precision. The left probably spent the night shaking in their tofu boots, because this operation was a win for real American strength. No apologies, no red tape, just results.
But what comes next? Instead of celebrating these heroes, the powers that be act like some sort of betrayal has happened. The Department of Justice rushed to arrest one of our own—a Special Forces soldier—charging him for supposedly using classified info about the raid to win a bet. This is exactly what we expect from bureaucrats who care more about forms and “protocol” than about victory. They can’t stand it when patriotism gets results they can’t control.
While social justice warriors and globalist elites wring their hands, Americans should be asking: Why won’t the left ever give credit where credit is due? The mission removed a dangerous dictator. The operation worked flawlessly. But our own establishment would rather turn on a soldier than admit that sometimes risks are necessary. Suddenly, one small lapse in judgment is the only thing they want to talk about. Not the fact that freedom just won a round against socialism.
It’s telling that when communists trample human rights, liberals stay quiet. But if one operator slips up after risking everything, the left screams for punishment. This hypocrisy is a disgrace. Where’s the outrage from global media when regime thugs torture detainees? Nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, the real villains are paraded as victims, and the heroes wind up in handcuffs.
This is what happens when a country is run by people who think diversity seminars matter more than defeating evil. The so-called “adults in the room” spend more energy attacking warriors than fighting monsters. You have to wonder—do they even know whose side they’re on anymore?
