Chaos hits the heart of America’s defense. Two government-run buses slammed into each other right outside the Pentagon, sending ten Department of War workers straight to the hospital. That’s right—while politicians push for more bureaucracy and more government interference, they can’t even keep their own transportation systems from colliding. Is this what “safety” under government control looks like?
Take a good look at what happened. Video evidence shows these two buses, run by different government agencies, barreling into each other as if nobody was behind the wheel. Meanwhile, we’re told time after time to just trust the system and keep quiet. As usual, regular Americans are expected to pay the price, while the political class continues its reckless spending and endless failed oversight.
This is the government’s so-called “efficiency” on full display. Billions are poured into things like public transportation, bloated agencies, and “War Departments”—yet basic competence is nowhere to be found. If our leaders can’t even prevent a mess like this right outside the most important military building in the country, how can we believe anything else they promise? Every American should be asking who’s really watching the store in Washington.
Of course, the progressives in charge will blame everything but themselves. They’ll say it’s a “rare accident” or point fingers at anything but the real cause: bureaucratic rot. The liberal obsession with more rules, more regulation, and more layers of management has created a culture where nobody is held responsible. It’s always someone else’s problem—until a bus crashes head-on outside the Pentagon.
How many more warnings do we need before we wake up? This is what happens when government gets too big, and the American people are left footing the bill for their failures. Maybe next time the elite want to lecture us about how they know best, they should try keeping their own buses on the road first. Or is that too much to ask?
