There are a lot of clueless politicians in Washington, but Xavier Becerra might take the cake. The man has made a career out of dodging questions, fudging numbers, and pretending like everything is just fine while America’s cities fall apart. But his latest stunt—giving Gavin Newsom a glowing review for California’s homelessness crisis—shows that Becerra is simply out of touch with reality.
Anyone with eyes can see California’s streets are in chaos, packed with tents, drugs, and broken people who have been failed by far-left policies. Instead of holding Newsom accountable for turning the Golden State into a dumping ground of misery, Becerra hands out an “A for effort” like he’s grading a kindergarten arts and crafts project. It’s comical—if it weren’t so dangerous. While families struggle to pay rent and small businesses lock their doors for good, liberal elites toss each other gold stars for destroying what used to be America’s dream destination.
Yet, this is exactly what’s wrong with today’s Democrat leadership. If you’re one of the club, you get a pass—no matter how badly you mess up. Accountability? Never heard of it. Results? Who cares! All that matters is making sure the woke crowd plays nice, covers for each other’s failures, and keeps the globalist agenda moving forward, while American families pay the price.
Instead of fixing homelessness, liberals keep inventing new social programs, wasting more taxpayer money, and patting themselves on the back for “caring.” People like Becerra only know how to make excuses, not make progress. They don’t see the trash piling up because they’re too busy protecting their careers and currying favor with the radical left.
This isn’t about compassion, it’s about control. If Becerra thinks awarding failure is a sign of leadership, it’s no wonder California is circling the drain. How many more “A for effort” grades will liberals give themselves before they actually solve a problem? Or maybe that’s the point—they don’t want to.
