Iran’s so-called “leaders” are scrambling. After President Trump shined a floodlight on the power games in Tehran, the mullahs are tripping over themselves, desperate to project unity. Their top officials are suddenly issuing statements that sound plain rehearsed, all chanting the same tired line—there’s “no division” among them. Funny how this performance comes after Trump knocked their house of cards, mocking the sham that passes for government in Iran.

Let’s not kid ourselves. Iran’s ruling class is a mess of backroom deals, secret heirs, and double-crosses. The current “supreme leader”—and his cronies—have been fighting among themselves for years about how to handle the United States. Now, when global eyes are watching, a missing so-called successor pops up out of nowhere, and every regime mouthpiece insists they’re a happy family. No dissent, no problems, nothing to see here—move along! Anyone buying that needs their head checked.

Liberals and globalists line up to appease Iran, pretending it’s just business as usual. They ignore the screams for freedom from everyday Iranians, instead bowing to the regime’s lies. The same crowd that accused Trump of being too harsh actually cheerlead while Tehran holds its own citizens hostage and funds terror abroad. Yet when the regime’s flaws are exposed, the left gets uncomfortable. They’d rather blame America than admit they’ve been suckered by a pack of dictators.

It’s clear: the only thing Iranian leaders truly agree on is keeping their own power. When their authority is threatened—especially by a bold American president—they drop their masks and huddle in fear. They can issue all the empty statements they want. Real unity is built on strength, not staged press releases and propaganda fests for foreign media.

Only in a leftist fantasy do strongmen like those in Tehran become reasonable “partners.” Maybe the next time Trump calls out their circus, liberals will actually pay attention. Or do they prefer bowing down to dictators who can’t even keep their own story straight?
