There’s a chill running through the swamp right now. The Justice Department, under new leadership, is finally targeting the sacred cows of the left. Cassidy Hutchinson, the so-called “star witness” from the Democrats’ made-for-TV January 6 hearings, is suddenly in hot water herself. This is the same Avery-level bureaucrat who spun wild tales about President Trump “hijacking” a Secret Service limo, and the media just ate it up. She was the darling of CNN, MSNBC, and every blue check on social media—the entire spectacle was one big anti-Trump circus.
Now, with a criminal referral on the table and DOJ investigators sharpening their pencils, it seems like Hutchinson is getting a taste of her own medicine. For too long, Democrats weaponized the justice system to harass anyone in Trump’s orbit. They celebrated when loyal Americans were dragged through endless kangaroo courts. But now, their favorite “whistleblowers” are facing real consequences for allegedly misleading Congress and pushing political fiction. Funny how quickly the tables can turn.
But it’s not just Hutchinson under the microscope. The Justice Department is also poking into other high-profile leftists and their pet projects. The same intelligence bosses who fueled the Russia hoax, like John Brennan, are feeling the heat. Big-money Democrat fundraising machines are getting a look for shady donor practices. Even liberal watchdog groups in the South are being hauled in over messy, questionable programs. There are whispers that the folks behind the constant anti-Trump lawsuits, like Fani Willis down in Georgia, are in line for some real scrutiny too.
For years, Americans watched politicians and deep state bureaucrats skate by while the rest of us were expected to follow every rule. Liberals never thought accountability would come for them. They sent the Justice Department after pro-life activists and parents at school board meetings—but screamed “authoritarianism” the moment someone shines a light on their own corruption.
It’s about time we wipe the smug grins off these self-appointed moralizers and remind them: the law applies to them just like it does to everyone else. If Cassidy Hutchinson and her crew really have nothing to hide, why are they so nervous? Maybe they’re worried because the truth is finally catching up.
