Republican Congressman Goes Missing for Weeks Leaving Voters Wondering Who Is Really Representing Them

Republicans in Congress are supposed to be leading the fight for the American people, not pulling disappearing acts. Yet, here we are — New Jersey’s own Thomas Kean Jr. decided to vanish from Washington for weeks without saying a word. Since early March, Kean hasn’t been seen on Capitol Hill. Not a peep, not an excuse, just radio silence. Try pulling this at your job and see how long you last.

It’s not just voters left scratching their heads. His fellow Republicans in New Jersey reached out, apparently got nothing but crickets in return. The leadership was tight-lipped, as if they hoped nobody would notice there’s an empty seat where there should be a principled conservative voice. This is more than just bad optics. This is bad leadership. The left would turn cartwheels if a conservative district is left unrepresented — and trust me, the Democrats will use any sign of weakness to their advantage.

People in New Jersey sent Kean to Washington to work, not to play hide and seek. We’ve seen enough games from the Biden White House, enough backroom deals, enough globalist nonsense. We don’t need AWOL Republicans vanishing when times are tough for working families. Voters need to see some backbone from the GOP, not more of the same swamp behavior.

The American people have had it with politicians treating Congress like a social club. Families in this country are struggling to put gas in their cars and food on the table, thanks to left-wing incompetence and open borders. Leaders in Washington should be showing up, speaking out, and fighting for us — not ghosting their jobs and hoping no one notices.

Maybe Speaker Johnson should be asking every Republican, “Are you here for the people, or for yourself?” It’s pretty simple: if you can’t show up and serve your district, pack your bags and let someone who cares about America step up. The days of weak-kneed Republicans are over. It’s time to get tough, or get out.
